Common Questions.
How does the Hook-on-Demand system work?
The Harpoon Lure uses a patented Pull-Tension Action Crankbait design featuring a cam-activated mechanism. During retrieval, the hook remains secure inside the lure body, helping reduce snagging in heavy cover. When an angler feels a strike and responds with a decisive pull on the rod, the mechanism activates and deploys the hook on demand.
Can I open or disassemble the lure?
No. The Harpoon Lure is a factory-sealed mechanical unit. Disassembling the body voids all warranties and safety statements. The cam system is precision-calibrated at the factory โ do not attempt to open or modify the lure.
What colorways are available?
The Harpoon Lure is available in three colorways: Perch, Bluegill, and Shad. Each colorway is designed to match common forage fish across a variety of water conditions. All three are included in the Elite 3-Pack.
Are the Precision Integrated Hooks a replacement part for the lure?
No. Harpoon Precision Integrated Hooks are a standalone fishing hook product designed for use with live bait and artificial baits. They are not replacement parts for the Harpoon Lure. The Harpoon Lure is a factory-sealed unit, and opening or modifying the lure voids the warranty.
What is your shipping policy?
We charge a flat rate of $5.00 for all domestic orders. Shipping is FREE on orders over $50.00. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1โ2 business days.
What is the eco benefit of using Harpoon Lures?
Because the Hook-on-Demand system is weedless, you lose far fewer lures to snags โ which means less lead and plastic entering our waterways. Every Harpoon Lure you keep fishing is one less piece of tackle on the lake bottom. We call it a Clean Water innovation.
