Who the Heck Are We?
We’re anglers, engineers, and problem-solvers.
Harpoon Lures was founded by William Walsh, a retired Police Lieutenant, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and lifelong angler who set out to solve one of fishing’s most frustrating problems: snagged hooks.
Harpoon Lures is based in Madison, Wisconsin, where William Walsh spent years developing a better lure from the inside out. After decades on the water, he knew there had to be a way to fish heavy cover without constantly getting hung up.
SO HE BUILT ONE
The Harpoon Lure uses a cam-activated hook system that stays tucked away while you retrieve and instantly deploys when tension changes on the strike.
Less snagging. More time fishing. Better hook-ups.

Founded by retired Police Lieutenant and Marine Corps veteran William Walsh, our patented 'Hook-on-Demand' technology was born from years of experimentation on the water.
